Description: 'Monument in the South Transept of Leigh Church, Staffordshire.' To Sir John Aston and his wife [1523]. Showing an alabaster tomb chest with crochetted arch-work, and effigies in pairs. The man is in armour and his feet rest on a lion.'[?G.] Buckler.'
