Description:South west view showing a house [of Matthew Boulton] in the distance on top of a hill. A factory chimney is visible above the trees to the left of the house. There is a lake in the foreground with cattle grazing on the banks. The sky is tinted. Inscribed 'To Mathew Boulton This S.W. view of SOHO id inscribed by his obliged servant S. Shaw'. Drawn and engraved by F. Eginton.
