Description:'View from Mr. Gresley's Garden at Stowe, showing Stowe Pool in the center (sic) the Brook running from it, in the foreground, the commencement of Stowe Street on the left, and the Tower of St. Mary's Church. On the right the Cathedral, with Mrs. Colonel Madan's house immediately underneath it, and still farther to the right the Bishop's Palace among the trees in the Daen's Hall; just underneath the palace, the remains of Johnson's Willow as it stood in 1826'. Artist: John Allport.
