Description:'Edial Hall near Lichfield. The Residence of Dr. Samuel Johnson in 1736.' Showing a square Georgian brick house with a roof sloping up to a row of dormers and a palisaded lantern. The whole is behind the garden wall, with a gateway and stabling behind.'
